The address of the Holocaust denial from inside Cairo to the whole Muslim world is, maybe, the most important message brought by Obama and that could be a truthful intro for Peace followed by a clear recognizing for the right of the Jewish state, Israel to exist. Anything before that would be baseless.
However, the holocaust denial "ignorance" and "hateful" won't take effect unless Arab regimes include the fact of the Holocaust in their education system. Any delay would be baseless but to delay the peace process.
The set peace agreements with Egypt and Jordan --that both still conceive Israel as the sole and the only enemy and the cause of the whole region problems (including the historical Shiia-Sunni-1500-years-conflict) did not help to build a true and normal peace between Egyptians, Jordanians ,both peoples, with Israel’s. Egypt and Jordan both stood against bridging between peoples for expected-normal reconciliation. Rumors, lies and hatred against Israel and all Jews fulfill the majority of Arab streets.
That is a truth. That is the problem from which the American administration, UN and the West must start to resolve as anything before is really baseless for Israel and for peoples of Arab world who just want to live in Peace whether they are Christians or moderate Muslims.
As far as the settlements are concerned, we must all remember and see the effect of Israel's withdrawal from Gaza on the peace process. Ahmed Koreih, Arafat's prime minster at that time refused to comment on that [historical] withdrawl saying that ,by only commeting, Israel would think that Palestinians are happy.
Gaza's last war, Palestinian’s divisions i.e. Hamas versus Fatah, Palestinian and majority of Arab Media can tell more about the unwillingness of both --Palestinians and respective allied Arab regimes-- to commit for Peace. The total destruction of Israel and the extermination of Jews --when possible-- are the real commitments that vibrate in their ignorant and hatred minds and souls.
I'm a Middle Eastern, speak Arabic, painfully living the ME unlimited crisis, born and raised amid Arab-Sharia-law environment. If American Jews are calling for Peace, I'm hungry for it...but not any price i.e. the humiliation until the extermination of the Jewish People.
